The photovoltaic system modeling involved quantifying the loads necessary to power the greenhouse to then calculate the resulting solar array and battery bank sizes. The resulting design parameters are presented in the table below. The solar energy received by the solar panel system was approximated and used to estimate the ~ $2,000 cost and 14.08%  losses of the 1.38 kW system.
